Since January 2014 I have been feeding both my open barrel racing horses, Rocs Rager & Moon Roc, Rose-Hip Vital Equine. Rocky is 18 years of age & has been one of Australia’s best for the past 13 years, but due to wear & tear on his joints, retirement looked to be imminent & joint injections were not something I considered starting at this stage of his life. After learning about the product at Equitana, I decided to try both horses on Rose-Hip Vital Equine, & I felt an improvement in Rocky’s action within the first 2 weeks. He has continued to improve & has been competing successfully whilst being fed Rose-Hip Vital, & on Australia day at Taralga rodeo he won his 125th open barrel race. Mooney has also been competing well, having not missed a cheque since he started on Rose-Hip Vital. Both horses look & feel great, they love the taste of it, & I find it to be an appetite stimulant which is beneficial when they are away from home competing. My husband Darrell is also taking Rose-Hip Vital with GOPO & has had good results with his joint pain. I am thankful that I stopped to talk about Rose-Hip Vital, as I believe it has made a change for the better to my horse’s lives. March 2015 After a wonderful Barrel Racing career spanning close to 15 years, and at almost 20 years of age, we have made the decision to retire our grand old gentleman Rocs Rager (Rocky). Rose-Hip Vital Equine has played a big part in keeping Rocky healthy & performing at the top of his game throughout the last 18 months, when horses of this age would normally be starting to slow down. With 130 open barrel racing wins & 60 placings to his credit, he leaves the sport at the top, with his last 7 runs resulting in 5 wins & 2 places. Rocky will be maintained in his retirement on Rose-Hip Vital Equine, as it has been such a huge benefit to him. Thanks Rose-Hip Vital for helping to prolong Rocky's career & allowing us to make many more special memories.

“The best way I can describe our experience would be, LIFE CHANGING!”

I was doing some research last year while my gelding (Amos aka: Moose) was recovering from a puncture wound on his knee…. I was fortunate enough to have been able to get him in for surgery right away. I knew that the road to recovery was going to have highs and lows, and that his barrel racing career might possibly be over. This was absolutely devastating! He was my first big purchase after college, and to picture him just standing out in the pasture was heartbreaking. He loves his job, and showing off. I knew I had to do something to help him through this recovery. I spent MANY hours ready, and searching, and studying products and supplements. I wanted the best of the best for him! And I knew that what could work for some horses, might not have the same effect on him. But with all of the reviews, and videos posted with testimonials, how could I not give Rose-Hip Vital a chance!?

The best way I can describe our experience would be, LIFE CHANGING! Before the injury, I had him on EXCEED 6-WAY which he blossomed on. During and after the injury, I tried EQUINETY, being when my mare had been similarly injured a year and a half before, I had put her on that and seen wonders worked. Equinety, unfortunately, did not have the same desired changes. With my gelding on Rose-Hip Vital, it was like night and day! He’s movements became a more fluid motion, instead of choppy and stuttered. He began taking steps confidently again, instead of hesitantly waiting for the pain. It was like he was a tinman given some oil in his joint, and he could move again! He was more relaxed and would stand with his head out the stall window and nicker non-stop at me if I did not take him out for his walks and short outdoor paddock breaks. I finally began to feel hope that things were gonna be okay for him. Since starting him on Rose-Hip Vital, I’ve noticed his spark is back. He’s ready for work, and he feels soft and supple. I can’t say enough great things about this supplement!!!! I love what it has done for my boy! If there was anything that I could change about the product, it would be the price tag. But I also know that great things come at a cost!

If you want your horse to compete like an athlete, you most certainly have to treat them like one. Coming from a background where I have ridden and/or competed in disciplines such as Campdrafting, Gymkhanas, Rodeo, Barrel Racing, TB Racing, Sprint Racing, Working Stock horse and so on. I came to recognise early on that the basic fundamentals are what set that solid foundation for your horse, and solid foundations quite often give you a calm, trainable, manageable, enjoyable and sound horse. And by following these basic principles you’re giving your horse an opportunity to have a long career.
