Rose-Hip Vital is incorporated into both of my horses diets. One of my horses [Beethoven] has been using Rose-Hip Vital since we purchased him over four years ago and my new horse [Savvy] was started on it when she was purchased a few months ago.
As high performance horses, their health is an essential part of their management so I am always conscious of how their internal health and diet is going to assist their physical health.
Beethoven is approaching 15 years of age so I am even more conscious of maintaining the health of his joints and combating any inflammation caused during training and competition. Rose-Hip Vital has been a critical component of his care, evident through his amazing joint condition recognised by our vets who have recently completed a full health check.
He is also a buckskin and light skin horses are typically more prone to inflammatory skin conditions. Once we commenced Rose-Hip Vital, the irritated skin patches around his muzzle and white socks subsided quickly and his skin was easily softened - I also applied some of your Rosehip Oil to his dry patches to heal the skin.
Savvy is an 8 year old mare so starting her health maintenance at a young age is important to ensure she has great performance now and her joint health is looked after as we progress to higher jumping levels. When we bought savvy, she had an area of joint fluid that we were told would stay put and wasn’t harming her. However, I wanted to make sure it would affect her in the future. She was immediately commenced on Rose-Hip Vital and within the loading period, the fluid bubble had completely disappeared and has not come back since. I would say I’m shocked, but after previous use of Rose-Hip Vital, I knew Rose-Hip Vital was taking care of her joints.
Both Horses coats are shiny and soft and they continue to receive complements from people passing by when we’re at competitions. Overall, they are in incredible condition that I can whole heartedly say Rose-Hip Vital is the aspect of their management that keeps them looking and feeling great.
