"The results were astounding. The improvement was obvious very quickly"
Most people best know "Flaunt It" as a 4* Eventer. He was also an advanced dressage horse and a Grand Prix show jumper. A training accident put an end to his competition career in June 2012 at the age of 13. We had a fall during a show jump training session when the horse slipped in front of a fence due to wet conditions. It was to be our last jump of the day. It resulted in him landing with a rail between his leg and the ground resulting in a nasty bang to his left fetlock and down into the pastern. The result was severe arthritic changes and a nasty spur. It was the end of his eventing career as every time we tried to jump or gallop him he was becoming sore and in fact got to the point where even a trot around the paddock was causing intermittent lameness some days. We were keen that he should be able to do some light duties as we feel that retired competition horses tend to age very quickly and he is very special to us. We were treating him with Pentosan and large doses of a Green Lip Mussel product with varying success. Some days he was ok and then some days not good, 3 out of 5 lame. It was suggested to us by the vets at Randwick Equine Centre that we try the Rose-Hip Vital product and with not much hope we agreed. The results were astounding. The improvement was obvious very quickly. We have been able to take Flaunt It of the Green Lip Mussel and the Pentosan and just manage him on the Rose Hip Vital. We no longer have any lameness, even if he gallops around the paddock. He is able to do his work to keep him young and healthy. He appears to be so sound we are talking about competing him again as a dressage horse and show jumping. Thank you Rose Hip Vital for giving Flaunt It a second chance and a longer, healthier and happier life.
