There's a question we get asked a lot about our equine range: Is it palatable?
We understand this is a hugely important question. As an oral supplement, you might assume Rose-Hip Vital Equine falls into the same bland, tasteless category as other oral supplements you've tried to sneak into your horses feed. (Hah! Nice try, mum and dad!)
The good news is that the palatability of Rose-Hip Vital Equine is just one of the many things that sets us apart from other oral supplements.
There's no doubt about it: horses love the taste of Rose-Hip Vital! How do we know? The hundreds of testimonials we receive from families who rave about its palatability. We've even heard stories of unguarded tubs being found completely cleaned-out! If you don't believe us, check out this video!
Here are just a few of the countless testimonials from families who use, and love, Rose-Hip Vital Equine.
What else makes Rose-Hip Vital Equine so special?
At Rose-Hip Vital, we believe in a holistic, preventative approach to your horses long term health.
Nourishing your horse with Rose-Hip Vital Equine today will ensure they receive a regular boost of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants; all of which work together to improve general wellbeing and performance, while inhibiting inflammation and cartilage deterioration.
All of our powders are naturally plant-based, containing just the one ingredient of ground Rosa Canina berries; the traditionally wild-growing dog rose of the rosehip family. Our patented extraction process enhances this natural superfood, by activating the exclusive galactolipid GOPO(R). It's the unique properties of GOPO(R) which give Rose-Hip Vital its scientifically-backed anti-inflammatory capabilities.
With over 31 naturally-occurring vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, flavonoids and essential fatty acids, Rose-Hip Vital is bursting with goodness in every scoop.
What's the dosage?
If you're new to Rose-Hip Vital, you might not be aware that we recommend an initial loading dose for equine and canine consumption. Think of it as a kickstart to our programme. The loading dose is higher than the ongoing maintenance dose, which you will revert to after four weeks.
Each Rose-Hip Vital Equine tub comes with a 25g scoop.
To start the programme on a loading dose:
We recommend a 10g dose per 100kg of bodyweight. For a 500kg horse, add a 50g dose (2 scoops) to normal feed, once a day.
After four weeks, or for an ongoing maintenance dose:
We recommend 5g per 100kg of bodyweight. For a 500kg horse, this will be a 25g dose (1 scoop) added to normal feed, once a day.
